Marketplaces Are The Future of Media

Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Uber, Airbnb, Peloton, Chewy. All of these companies share one thing in common- they have created a substantial volume of users who stick within their owned ecosystems.

The ability to create a collection of users gathering in one place is the mecca of digital businesses.

The consolidation of users allows you to monetize your company in multiple directions, and drive broader impact and growth across your customers. For example, Peloton offers three monetization arms- physical products, digital subscriptions, and branded clothing. This is only possible due to the tight integration between its product lines, and the consolidation of its set of users into relatively few places (the Peloton App/Website, and having coaches drive high follower counts on Instagram, all frequently linking to places like the Peloton store).

At KLIK, we’re building a business that creates revenue. Regardless of the business problem, our goal is to help our partners drive better revenue through analytics, media management, design, ux, seo, & creative services.

Historically, we’ve relied on the marketplaces provided by Google, Facebook, & LinkedIn. These are heavily gated marketplaces, with increasing costs and decreased ability to segment users properly.

The future of media is the creation of independently owned ecosystems that provide a tighter alignment to each businesses given goal. Reducing the dependency on big platforms puts the power back into media creator’s hands.

Rather than sitting back and letting the world evolve around us, KLIK is tackling marketplaces head on.

We’re excited to launch our first ever marketplace, CodingBootcamps.io, that will allow us to better serve our partners needs in the education sector.

By creating a place for interested students to evaluate opportunity, we’ll be able to offer partners an ability to tell their story in an organic way, increasing enrollments for their offerings.
